Pros and cons of MapD - Map Distance app for iPhone and iPad

MapD - Map Distance app good for

Have used for years for road trips. Awesome program. Would love an update?
Note: you can save routes to review when you do not have WiFi. It took me a while to figure this out.

Some bad moments

I am so excited to be able to choose routes, know milage and driving time w/o having to be in my car using my GPS. Think I will really enjoy spending that $1.99.
UPDATE: just tried it on the road. Miles is WAY OFF! Its great for getting the distance between differant points, that part couldnt be easier but it doesnt calculate the actual time to drive between those points. You have to guess how fast you can go. As with every program it seems, this one falls short of what we need.
Does exactly what it says that it does-measures distance between points. Would give it a 5 if it came with instructions or had a support web site. It took me a while to figure how it works.
I use it to map my running routes. It works great. I wish there was a way to save the routes. Maybe this app can be redesigned for sports use like running, biking, etc. Please consider that idea.
great app! worth the money: allows you to draw as well as pinpoint your start and finish locations!! i use it to map how far my runs are.. it also lets me know me estimated time by entering in how fast i run (ex 5:00 mile is 11 mph)
Great app, doesnt draw a straight line for calculating long distance, worth the money!
